I’ve been recently asked to do an illustration for the Birthday of a friend aunt, named Rosemary.
This has been really interesting to work on something obviously quite personal, but for someone I’ve never met. Basically a mash up of what she likes while playing with the “Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary” nursery rhyme.
I’ve done a bit more work on the rough than usual, and for once defined the colour scheme at this early stage:
